Workshop Summary:

The Street Style Surgery is on a mission to inspire as many young people as possible across the UK through our creative, entrepreneurial and highly educational (in a cool way) workshops.
Our fast-moving, fun and innovative workshops for schools and other youth organisations are a sure-fire hit with young people from all backgrounds. These workshops will boost the self-confidence and fire the aspirations of your young people. Plus they can count on heaps of inspiration and guidance courtesy of our experienced and skilled workshop leaders.
The SSS was set up by our founder Sissy Rooney whose passion and mission is to continually inspire the next generation and help them to discover their special hidden talent

We can deliver everything from Gok one recycle challenge workshops, to business and enterprise fashion workshops, T-shirt spray paint and customisation session, fashion illustration, mood board design and branding and logo development

What will young people get out of this fashion workshop?
The opportunity to get creative and express themselves in a fun and easy-going workshop environment where all opinions are encouraged
Hands-on experience of the fashion and design process with a focus on ethically re-vamping clothes, instead of binning them
A chance to explore the idea of pursuing a career in fashion and an insight into the skills and qualities required
An opportunity to share their ideas, engage in peer-to-peer praise rather than peer pressure… and develop their communication and presentation skills
An increased respect for the opinions and ideas of others – and a sense of how this feedback can be used to improve their initial concept
The raised self-confidence levels that come with having an idea and then seeing it brought to life
A whole lot of fun!!
