Workshop Summary:

A fun, hands-on, "eco" workshop: Become a climate scientist; discover the causes and effects of global warming; analyse your own carbon emissions; explore "green" technologies; and learn to make positive changes at home and school. Become informed and empowered participants in the climate debate.
Climate change is probably the biggest issue that will affect today's children, and is now recognised as a significant cause of anxiety to them. But, knowledge is empowering. In this fun and hands-on "eco" workshop, children will become climate scientists in their own classroom and work together to discover the facts about global warming and the impact of humans on nature. They then explore the many things that they as individuals and communities can actually do about it. It is created and delivered by Dr Helen, child-friendly scientist, who has a PhD in Paleoclimatology, so there is ample opportunity to "ask an expert".
