School Trip Activities Summary: Museums Worcestershire offers exceptional school trips & outreach sessions to remember. With activities and workshops suited to all ages and abilities, our extraordinary museums will help you to bring your curriculum to life.

Worcestershire County Museum at Hartlebury Castle is a step back in time for learners of all ages. Through role-play and immersive learning, pupils can discover over 1000 years of history from Victorian school room and scullery to the World Wars.

The Commandery is the perfect place to bring local and national history to life. It is the very place where, in 1651, the decisive battle at the end of the civil war took place, ending the rule of the monarchy in England.

Worcester City Art Gallery and Museum runs a rolling programme of exhibitions in it's world class galleries. There is always something new to learn and discover in this magnificent Victorian building in the heart of Worcester.

Additional Information: A session with one of our award-winning historic venues will give your pupils a fascinating insight into their local history and inspire deeper learning. From your initial enquiry to the day of your session, our experienced museum learning team will work with and support you to ensure that your group enjoy a trip to us or learning session in your classroom that is curriculum-focused, fun and memorable.

Our friendly team will be happy to discuss your groups individual needs at any stage during your enquiry.

Testimonials & Accreditation Awards: We are proud that in 2018 Worcestershire County Museum and The Commandery won the prestigious Sandford Award for quality education provision for schools.
